About Eoghan ———

A different perspective can

change what happens next.

I am Eoghan Darmody, founder of The Clarity Project.

I work with people carrying, or stepping into greater responsibility, and with teams when something important needs their attention.

It might be a decision, a transition, a relationship, a new level of responsibility or simply the sense that the way forward isn’t as clear as it needs to be.

Before The Clarity Project ———

I’ve spent much of my career on

the other side of the conversation.

Before becoming a coach, I spent more than two decades working in business — leading teams, building products, working with senior stakeholders and navigating periods of significant change.

I’ve experienced start-ups and established organisations. Growth and uncertainty. Difficult conversations, competing priorities and the responsibility that comes with leadership — and the reality that sometimes there isn’t an obvious right answer.

What interested me increasingly wasn’t just the decisions being made, but how people arrived at them — what they were seeing, what they might be missing and what could change with the right conversation.

I don’t arrive with the answer. I understand what it’s like to be responsible for finding one.

Why The Clarity Project ———

The work I found most meaningful was

creating space for clearer thinking.

That realisation led me back to study and ultimately to executive coaching.

Coaching gave me a different way to work with people — not by providing the answers, but by creating space to step back, explore different perspectives and possibilities, and challenge the thinking when that’s useful.

The Clarity Project grew from that idea: when something important is at stake, having the right space to think can change what happens next.

What Shapes My Approach ———

Space to pause. Perspective to see more. Clarity to move with intention

Space to think

I create a calm, confidential space where you can step back, think clearly and explore what really matters.

Curiosity to explore

I listen deeply and bring genuine curiosity, creating the questions and space that help you explore possibilities and find your own way forward.

The wider picture

We look beyond the immediate challenge, considering the larger context, the key relationships and the longer term objectives.

Movement with intention

We turn insights into practical actions that fit your context, helping you to move forward with clarity and confidence.

Beyond coaching ———

A life that keeps me grounded

I’m from Killarney, Co. Kerry, where life outside work is every bit as important to me as my work. I’m a husband and dad, happiest spending time with family and friends, getting outdoors, following sport or finding an excuse to get out on the motorcycle.

Living in Kerry helps too. The mountains, lakes and open space are a fairly good reminder of the value of stepping away from the noise every now and again.

I think all of that shapes how I see people and coaching. None of us arrives at a conversation as just a leader, founder or business owner. Work, family, ambition, responsibility and everything else happening in life inevitably overlap. Understanding the person behind the role matters.
